Function of protective film
When the element is used in the air at 800 ℃, it begins to oxidize. When the temperature reaches 1000-1300 ℃, a layer of silica protective film is formed on the surface of the heating part. Cristobalite crystallizes at 1300 ℃, and the protective film reaches a certain thickness at 1500 ℃, so that the oxidation speed of the element becomes extremely slow and tends to be stable.
