Production Process


Spark Silicon Carbide Resistance Heating Elements are extruded, high-temperature recrystallized rods or tubes made from high-purity alpha silicon carbide. The optimized particle structure of the silicon carbide gives them unique properties for industrial and laboratory use. They have an optimal service life in a variety of applications, especially in oxidizing and corrosive gas environments.

 

Spark elements can be installed vertically or horizontally at 1600°C without any support, which facilitates the design of furnaces and allows for the replacement of elements in uninterrupted production, a feature which is particularly evident in continuous production, where the high load-bearing capacity is suitable for small volumes and high power environments. Therefore, it is widely used in aerospace materials, photoelectric materials, lithium battery materials, magnetic materials, electrolytic aluminum, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, non-ferrous metals and machinery and other industries on a variety of high-temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating equipment.
